Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of a puppy?

The cost of a puppy is $4000 USD. This includes registration paperwork, ear cropping, a go home care package and lifetime breeder support. We do NOT sell littermates into the same home.

Puppies are cropped between 7-8 weeks of age. They can be left with natural ears at the request of a puppy buyer once deposit has been paid. If a puppy is requested with natural ears, it cannot be cropped at a later date.

What happens if I can no longer keep my dog?

In the event that you are no longer able to care for your dog, we will take it back or aid in rehoming after vetting the potential new owner(s) per signed contract. Terra Presa puppies will always be welcomed back home.

Can you help train my new puppy?

Included in the go home care package will be training foundation exercises as well as professional trainer recommendations local to you. Breeder support includes troubleshooting challenges however the likelihood that we will be able to help hands on may be low so having a knowledgable hand to guide you in person will be most beneficial

Do you sell breeding rights for puppies?

No. Not all puppies from a litter will grow into being breeding worthy. In order to maintain consistency and integrity, only one or two puppies will be held back as keepers or for co ownership in each litter. The rest will be sold on legally binding non breeding contracts as family pets, sporting dogs or working dogs.

What if I would like to get a second Presa Canario?

If you are returning to us looking for another dog, we are happy to help in matching another puppy to you. Your current dog(s) must be over one year of age before another puppy will be placed with you.

What can I name my new puppy?

Each litter will have a 'theme' with a list to choose from for registration names, depending on the particular theme. Call names, which is what you would use on a regular basis, can be whatever you would like.
